GiftAMeal Top Ten Restaurants: July 2018
We just finished tallying the GiftAMeal numbers for July… and it was a big month. Thanks to all of our awesome users, we have reached over 150,000 meals provided to those in need! Amazing. Now, we’d like to highlight the restaurants that made the biggest impact last month to help us reach 150,000 meals. Here are the top ten GiftAMeal restaurants for July, based on the number of GiftAMeal photos taken in each restaurant.
1. Seoul Taco
Seoul Taco functions perfectly both as a sit-down restaurant and an easy takeout spot. Whether you’re looking for a spot for dinner with family or friends, or you just want to pick up tacos for a quiet night in, Seoul Taco is a great choice.
Gingham’s has always been a strong GiftAMeal supporter, and we’re excited to see them come in at number 2 this month! They offer comfort food at any time of day or night, and they spice it up every day with different daily specials.
Next time you’re at Anthonino’s, boosting their August GiftAMeal numbers, we recommend ordering the gyro, the spaghetti and meatballs, or the toasted ravioli. Also, be sure to check out a recent KDSK Show Me St. Louis feature on GiftAMeal filmed at Anthonino’s Taverna!
Rich and Charlie’s is another one of our favorite places to get Italian in St. Louis. Think about taking advantage of their early bird menu, weekdays from 3:00 – 5:30 PM. They have several pasta dishes for under $10, $5 glasses of wine, and a $3 Bud Light draft.
Pat Connolly’s GiftAMeal usage rates exploded this month—and we’re very happy to see them in the top ten. Be sure to check out their weekly jazz night—scheduled for the next eight Thursday nights at 8:00 PM.
Brunch is great, but nothing beats brinner. Chris’ Pancake & Dining allows you to order pancakes, French toast, omelets, biscuits, and more all day long—until 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 8:00 PM on Sundays.
This month, Turn unveiled a new menu with a lot of exciting new options, many of them perfect for the hot St. Louis weather. Be sure to try it in August before summer ends, and check out a blog post we wrote, detailing the new menu.
8. The Vine
The Vine has a lot to offer. You can go for grabbing a bite dining in, ordering at the juice bar, or picking something up at their market or bakery. Remember that all of these items are fair game for GiftAMeal photos.
One thing that we love about Three Kings—they have two separate happy hours. Early happy hour is Monday-Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, then late happy hour is Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM to close. And there are some amazing deals—half off drafts, $3.99 drinks on select liquors, and $2 off on select glasses of wine.
Frank & Helen’s is a wonderful Italian spot, close to Wash U in University City. Make sure to try their toasted ravioli and their calzone.
There are, of course, many other GiftAMeal restaurants that had high levels of usage but didn’t make the top ten. So, we’d also like to give honorable mentions to the following high usage restaurants:
In August, frequent your favorite GiftAMeal restaurant to help get them onto our next top ten list!
